It’s harder to pull out of a personality business as opposed to a brand business. If your face is the business then without it the business loses its unique selling point. 
People fail or are slow to create the processes that allow them to be free. 
As a leader if you want to attract and retain the best talent then we need to passionately portray the vision of why the business started in the first place. The right people will react to that fire within you. 
As consumers we want the person who does the thing we need and does it well. We subconsciously go narrow to specifically what we need, where as many businesses try to cast their net wider and wider. You don’t go to an Italian restaurant to buy Taco Bell.
